Every Week English

This week I interview another friend from church, Alexander Egorov or Sasha to his friends.  He's an intrepid explorer of the ancient Greeks and Romans who can answer the questions we're all dying to know, such as: Who was Epicles? Why should we care about these ancients? And how does English help in every day life? An excellent guest and one whom I hope to have on again in the future!

Idioms: Blow hot and cold = inconsistent moods (not used in real life), Cut corners = to take an easy solution which often has negative consequences (used often), Boil the ocean = to take up an impossible task (not used often), Strife = troubles, Get into the weeds/deep dive = to go unnecessarily in detail, and Guesswork = things we don't know for certain.
